This workshop is designed for nurses who are new to urology as well as those seeking to sharpen their clinical skills and update their practice in line with current best‑practice standards. Our
multidisciplinary speakers will deliver focused teaching on key procedures central to urological nursing, including urethral and suprapubic catheterisation, bladder irrigations (CBI and MBI), nephrostomy tube care, intermittent self‑catheterisation, urethral dilatation and intravesical instillations. Participants will benefit from expert instruction, live demonstrations of procedural
technique, and structured hands‑on practice at dedicated clinical stations. This immersive format supports the development of procedural confidence, reinforces evidence‑based practice, and enhances readiness for delivering high‑quality urological care..

NZUNS Workshop Two - Urology 101

A clear, practice‑focused introduction to core urological conditions for nurses entering the specialty. This workshop establishes foundational knowledge across major disease areas, including prostate cancer, renal cancer, bladder cancer, LUTS and stone disease.
Participants will strengthen their ability to recognise key symptom patterns, navigate diagnostic pathways and contribute effectively to patient management across common urological presentations. This session serves as an ideal entry point for nurses new to urology, as well as a valuable refresher for experienced practitioners seeking to consolidate their foundational knowledge.

ANZSU Workshop One - Robotics

An opportunity to attend an exclusive robotic workshop run by Prof. Ben Challacombe with live demonstration on the HUGO robotic platform with a focus on urological oncology surgery
including tips and tricks during robotic radical prostatectomy.
